Independent agencies run one business across many brands. Most software around them sees one piece at a time. Mustard gives the agency its own complete system.
"Mustard makes every sandwich better - it is the small ingredient that ties everything together."
Paired with the mustard seed, that small-ingredient idea became the clearest picture of what this company is here to do.
Mustard began with a conversation at home, a little laughter, and one word that made perfect sense.
Luke and Wanda were dreaming about what the business could become when Wanda named it before there was a deck, logo, or polished pitch.
"Mustard."
"Okay, I love it - but explain it to me."
"Mustard makes every sandwich better. It's the small ingredient that ties everything together."
"And Jesus said if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move mountains."
"That hit me. The smallest seed can grow into something strong enough to change the whole garden."
The name became the picture for the company: small, faith-sized improvements that tie the work together and grow into something lasting.
"If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." - Matthew 17:20
Faith, family, and the belief that good systems should serve people shape the way we build Mustard.
We kept seeing good people forced to run growing businesses through tools that did not fit, scattered spreadsheets, and knowledge held in memory.
Independent agencies feel that problem sharply because their work crosses every brand they represent. Mustard exists to give that work one clear home.

Luke builds the product and systems behind Mustard. His background in sales, marketing, and business process work shaped a simple conviction: software should make the real work clearer, not force a team to work around the tool.
We work from home, raise five kids, and believe faith should guide how we lead our family and serve the agencies that trust us.
The goal is not efficiency for its own sake. It is to build software with care, integrity, and respect for the business behind it.
Small steps with great faith lead to big results.
Simplicity creates consistency.
Systems should serve people, not replace them.
Do more with what you've been given.
Work as if you're building something that lasts.
